New Album Is on the Way?

stu-splash-at-window09Fans of Glaswegian twee pop, take note: Belle and Sebastian just might be returning with a new album. While front-man Stuart Murdoch has been keeping busy with his God Help the Girl project, rumours are brewing that a new B&S album is coming up fast. If you head on over to Belle and Sebastian’s website, the front page depicts Murdoch writing in a notebook with a skyline behind him. Beneath the picture, the caption reads: “Here’s some evidence of activity to reassure you kids who are fretting on the Q&A’s. Look behind Stuart… could that be another B&S record on the horizon?” Unfortunately, that’s all the band are giving us to go on at the moment, but the album would mark Belle and Sebastian's first since 2006's The Life Pursuit.
